The holiday season has arrived on the roads of Truck Driver: The Dutch Connection!

Patch 1.0.6.0 is now live on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, bringing a 🎄 free Christmas story chapter, festive content, visual upgrades, and more than 50 bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.

• A free Story chapter has been added to the game — a Christmas chapter lasting up to an hour and a half. It features full voice acting (the main characters are Felix and his daughter, Nicole), and the chapter takes place after the end of the original game’s Story Mode. It’s called The Long Road to Christmas and can be selected directly from the game’s main menu. In this mode, the player cannot use the save function and must complete the entire chapter in one sitting. As a reminder, we also have a similar Christmas mission in Truck Driver: American Dream, where after the latest update we added a new Christmas truck.  

• New Christmas radio

• Added Christmas paint jobs and add-ons.

• Two new Christmas trailers.

• One completely new location related to the Christmas Story.

• Added a new feature that allows players to track which Freedom to Roam missions have been completed and which have not.

• New icons and UI updates.

• Specific post-processing improvements that make the overall image sharper and clearer (except when the weather is foggy).

• Added a new holiday start screen that will activate every year during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

• Added 5 new Freedom to Roam missions (the total is now 45).

• Updated lighting across a large portion of locations (the process of updating nighttime lighting is ongoing).

• More locations around the world are populated with buildings and vegetation, mainly along the road network.

• More pedestrians have been added across the world to improve the player experience.

• Navigation & traffic regeneration.

• Improved the way the weather changes between its states.

• Added two additional traffic vehicles.

• More than 50 bug fixes and QoL improvements.

• Major localization updates and fixes.
