 The latest update for Truck Driver: The American Dream is now available, bringing enhanced PS5 Pro features, smarter traffic AI, improved immersion, new language support, and a wide range of gameplay improvements, bug fixes, and quality-of-life enhancements.

Updates & Additions

• Added automatic turn signal cancellation after completing a turn in the direction of the active indicator.
• PS5 Pro Only – Improved the 40 FPS, 60 FPS, and 120 FPS display modes and how they interact with VRR-enabled displays. For example, VRR flickering has been significantly reduced. These improvements are only available when using a 120 Hz display. The 40 FPS, 60 FPS, and 120 FPS modes now run inside a 120 Hz output container for lower input latency. When using a 60 Hz display, 40 FPS mode will run at 30 FPS, while 120 FPS mode will be capped at 60 FPS.
• PS5 Pro Only – Hardware ray-traced reflections now also support vegetation, Instanced Static Meshes, and Spline Meshes.
• Updated vehicle turning behavior in specific traffic situations.
• Updated truck dashboards to display the player's Hunger percentage.
• Added Romanian and Finnish language support.
• Increased windshield wiper volume, making it more audible even during heavy storms.
• Traffic vehicles now keep their engines audibly running when stopped or driving near the player's truck.
• Further improved traffic AI behavior in several specific locations.
• Added an additional speed reduction stage after overtaking traffic vehicles, allowing them to slow down more naturally.
• Various audio improvements throughout the game world and user interface.
• Collision sounds are now more muffled when viewed from the in-cab camera, creating a more immersive interior audio experience.
• Pedestrians now switch from walking to running animations during rain or snowfall.

Bug Fixes

• Numerous localization fixes across multiple languages.
• Over 15 bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements across localization, navigation, audio, visuals, controls, and more.
