Petit Island  Patch 1.0.5 has arrived on PS5 & Nintendo Switch!

Hello everyone!

An exciting Petit Island update has arrived on PlayStation®5 and Nintendo Switch ! Patch 1.0.5 is now live, introducing a wave of new content and improvements to enhance your island adventure.

With this update, you’ll find new rideable mounts to explore with, fresh wildlife to encounter, and a variety of new objects to interact with. We’ve also made enhancements to the environment and sound design, creating a more immersive experience overall. On top of that, a range of bug fixes and performance tweaks ensure your time on the island is smoother than ever.

We hope you enjoy everything this update has to offer. Please note that this will also be coming soon to Xbox Series X|S.

PlayStation 5

Fixes: 

🌴 Game crashes at the end of Chapter 3.  

🌴"Like Grandpaw" achievement is not unlocking correctly.  

🌴 Player cannot navigate on shaded objects in the Journal.  

🌴 Game freezes when deleting all items in Secret Base.  

🌴 Text overlaps and overflows when playing in Spanish.  

🌴 End cutscene is not playing out.  

🌴 Code string displayed for Shovel tutorial when playing in Arabic.  

🌴 Issue with the option NO on Exit pop-up menu.  

🌴 Instruction text is cut off when playing in Arabic.  

🌴 Code strings are visible in some languages.  

🌴 "Expert Angler" trophy is not unlocked properly.  

🌴 Player can't continue with gameplay after post-game save data.  

🌴 Side quests not possible to complete when updated to Patch 1.0.3.  

🌴 Active main quest been reseted when build is updated to Patch 1.0.3.

🐢 New Rideable Mounts: Flamango and Lizard Dragon can now be purchased from the shop. 

🐢 New Wildlife: Chickens now roam the world. 

🐢 New Interactive Objects: Players can now interact with soccer balls and beach balls. 

🐢 Pettable Animals: Some animals in the world can now be interacted with and petted. 

🐢 Sitting Feature: Lily can now sit on chairs to enjoy the scenery. 

🐢 Banallama Ability Update: Banallama can now jump. 

🐢 Phone Left Cinematic Change: Now plays as an animation instead of a cinematic (based on player feedback). 

🐢 Updated Sound Assets: The shocked emoji sound has been modified (based on player feedback). 

🐢 Environmental Enhancements: Additional props have been added to the world. 

🐢 Bug Catching Update: Sneaking while catching bugs is now less sensitive (based on player feedback). 

🐢 UI/UX Improvements: Updated the Furniture and Rideable pages in the Journal to help players better track collectible items. 

🐢 NPC Relocations: Some NPCs have been repositioned. 

🐢 Geocache Adjustments: The geocache for the Scout Mission has been relocated. 

Nintendo Switch

Fixes:

🌴 Tram driver sinks to the ground.  

🌴 "Wildlife Documentation: Insect" side quest is not marked as completed.  

🌴 UI is present in some of the cinematics.  

🌴"?" mark after completing side quests.  

🌴 First two 'Muskateers' tasks are available at the same time.  

🌴 Player can't continue with gameplay after post-game save data.  

🌴 Cannot navigate on shaded objects in the Journal.  

🌴The Smile for Pawmera side quest cannot be finished in a first try after talking to NPC.
